I wasn't meant to go to the Everytime I Die show in Madison on this day, but fate intervened when my friend got sick day of and I was offered the ticket to see a band I didn't know anything about. The show was at the Loft in Madison. The Loft was a room within a greater community space, as such is was a dry venue and we had to wait for a child gymnastics class to clear out before we could go in. The view of all the younglings in their tutus walking past a bunch of hardcore fans was pretty stellar. The show was great, I wish I had the opportunity to see them again in the years since to see it again as more of a fan. Seeing my docile friends stage diving while guitars rip and the vocalist was screaming his heart out was a sight to behold. Very good show.
