My dad has loved ELO as far back as I can remember. When they announced their first American tour in 35+ years we snagged tickets ASAP. Allstate Arena is one of my favorites, it's obviously an arena, but it feels much more intimate, especially compared to the nearby behemoth, the United Center. Jeff Lynne sounded great and the memories of that night are strong as my dads off key voice cutting through Livin' Thing.
