2018-02-20 - Robert Plant
Riviera Theatre - Chicago, IL

Thinking this would be one of our only oppertunities to see Robert Plant, we scalped tickets and made our way to Chicago for one of the first times together. Riviera Theatre waaay oversold this show, without getting there hours early we were relegated to the back behind the bar. Micaela couldn't catch a glimpse of RP behind the wall of people and I could catch a sliver here and there if the crowd all positioned themselves perfectly. In the rotunda area upstairs we tried for a better view, but none could be found. Felt like an opium den in there, people were strewn on the floor in various states of despair. Never seen anything like it since. Thankfully we got a few more chances to catch Robert Plant and never had to go to the Riviera Theatre again.
