My first ever concert was at the Beloit Riverfest. The Riverfest was a long running festival series that always had two or three bands from a generation or two ago. Perfect for my tastes at the time. I was invited by my best friend at the time, Jordan, a neighbor from the down the street, and his mom Bonnie. I don't remember much about the show to be honest, other than calling my dad and holding my flip phone out for my dad to hear "Shakin'". I cannot imagine what that sounded on the other side of my ca. 2006 Kyocera phone.
