My friends had clued me into Reignwolf and the whole group jumped at the chance to see him. This was my first show at the Frequency, it has since gone out of business but it was a bar up front and a tiny venue in back. While understated it was the venue for two of my favorite shows of all time, Reignwolf and Rival Sons. The space is so small that we had to lean back to avoid getting hit by the headstock of the guitars. The crowds were always great. Stellar venue, stellar show. Reignwolf at that time had no released original music. His set was all unreleased music and covers. His cover of "The Chain" with a small, electric Firebird mandolin was definitely the highlight.
